Super Hotel .. !!

Very old but cozy restaurant with a great location. The food is homemade and you can taste it, really delicious and very large portions. The prices are really extremely fair, 0.5 liters of beer for € 2.50 or a cordon bleu for € 8.60. The service is not the briskest due to the age, but the kitchen is very quick. Really a recommendation for everyone looking for Franconian home cooking at very moderate prices.

Nice hotel, held in a subtle pink which shouldn't bother anyone. Service absolutely top, good middle-class guest house with very nice service.

Four of us had been there in the evening to eat hot food. The food was great and cheap. We recommend this inn, if you are possibly in transit. The service is very friendly.

Good place for a short business visit in Nuremberg. Small, but clean and cosy rooms, good beds. You should not expect a big breakfast, but there is a small restaurant, family business with good regional cuisine. Both hotel and restaurant with very reasonable prices.

Basically okay and cheap. Strangely, I found the owner's reaction to my wish that a simple hair dryer would make sense. Except for a lesson there was not much. By the way, you get a simple hair dryer already for 6.99 euros. Somehow a pity because of such a small thing to annoy the guest unnecessarily.

This small, fine Franconian inn is located less than a kilometer from the A6, Schwabach West motorway exit, towards Kammerstein, on the left of the 466 federal road. Today we came from Gunzenhausen, i.e. the opposite direction, turned off the autobahn due to countless traffic jams, hungry and skeptical. Skeptical because so many of the inns on federal highways have suppressed the local color scheme, adapting themselves to truck stops, with standard food from large kitchens. The menu card is short. Everything is done by hand. And that is what traditional Franconian Schäufele ordered with dumpling. Often tried so far, but nowhere more delicate and rounder in taste! At the next table, a very elderly lady in a wheelchair and her son as a guest with the senior chef (90) of the small hotel / restaurant. When the lady said goodbye, we heard her say: "A trip from my nursing home to Meyerle is always a holiday for me". It's not modern there. But on the contrary. The inn is apparently operated unchanged for many years. And that makes the holiday. The Gasthof Meyerle preserves the tradition of the region in the best sense of the word. We loved it!
